Our team has successfully navigated this issue by using one of three methods (or a mix of them), each tailored to different situations:
1. Close Connections with Master License Holder
In this method, we leveraged strong relationships with specific master license holders. This allowed us to negotiate a conditional license issuance with the understanding that the platform's certification would be submitted later during the operational phase. This approach ensured that the client could start operating while completing the certification process in parallel.
2. Partnering with WL providers
The second method involved partnering with an existing, certified platform or white-label providers. In this case, we helped clients sign an agreement with a certified platform, which satisfied the master license holders' requirements for issuing the license. However, the client continued to operate on their own platform (at their own risk), effectively bypassing the need for immediate certification while maintaining complete control over their proprietary software.
3. Creative Legal Documentation
When neither of the above options was feasible, our legal team demonstrated exceptional creativity and skill. We drafted the necessary documents, letters from game providers, and contracts to convincingly show that the client's proprietary software was ready for operation and met the technical standards needed for licensing (usually, it was a mix with 1st option). It was working with some of the Masters, so a set of documents from game providers confirmed that the software works appropriately, and some other essential documents helped clients start operating without certification.
